Saw Mr Chitsabasan about an inguinal hernia. After a careful examination I was informed that I had bilateral hernias. He gave an informative explanation about the procedure I was to undergo and gave me a prompt appointment for surgery. Throughout my care he was nothing but kind, helpful and explained ever ything clearly.

Mr Chitsabesan is a wonderful, caring surgeon with a smile. A perfect and clear bedside manner and so obviously highly skilled. He and his team recently undertook open surgery on a large hernia that I had developed, an operation made more challenging and risky than usual due to my having unrelated complex blood cancer issues and my late 70s age. He and his team seamlessly coordinated with haematology and chemotherapy colleagues in advance and on the day to ensure essential immediate pre-surgery preparations and subsequent follow up. Mr Chitsabesan was initially highly recommended to me by my GP for which on the basis of the entirely successful, comfortable and clearly explained intervention I received, and the timely follow up appointment I enjoyed with Mr Chitsabesan personally, I could not be more grateful and have no hesitation in highly recommending him.

Very honest, very knowledgeable, respectful to my concerns and worries. I was confident in Mr Chitsabesan skills and abilities to operate on myself. Dedicated to delivering the best outcome for myself from an operation which turned out to be long and complicated . Would I recommend Mr Chitsabesan , most definitely.
